We’re happy to announce a new format for our Learn to Meditate course! The new four-class series takes place Thursday evenings in alternate months, starting January 31. We also offer this series in Calgary.
The four-class introductory series is designed especially for beginners (or for those who wish to revitalize their practice). In this course, you will learn the essentials of meditation practice and the Buddhist approach to training the mind. The classes will include instructions, guided meditations, and a chance to ask questions. Everybody welcome!

Week Two: What is Meditation?
Week Three: Refining Our Methods
Week Four: A Daily Practice
By the End of this Course, You will have Tools to:
- Create a successful meditation practice
- Integrate the teachings to positively transform your daily activities
- Bring a sense of balance, peace and clarity into your life and your relationships
Our general program classes include Dharma teachings along with guided meditations
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners
General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually
Chairs and cushions are provided
$12 drop in fee or
$40 if you pre-register for four classes ($8 in savings!)
