Learn to Meditate 
Two Part Series​

Saturday 10 & 17 April

Time: 2:00 – 5:00pm
Cost: $25 per class (free for supporting members)

Join us for an introductory course designed especially for beginners. In this course you will learn how to meditate and the Buddhist approach to training the mind. Meditation is a powerful, creative tool for changing our experience of our self, others and our world. Learn the art of meditation, and bring a sense of balance, peace and clarity into your life and your relationships.

The course will consist of two sessions with a fifteen minute break in the middle. Each session will include guided meditations, teachings and a chance to ask questions.

Dealing with Change and Uncertainty

Cost: $12 drop-in fee (free for supporting members)

We are all living in uncertain times, both globally and personally. It is easy to feel troubled by everything that we see in the world, and upset by the difficulties that we’re dealing with daily. Times of change and uncertainty can be unsettling, but they also can become transformative.

Buddha explained how to keep the mind free from fear and anxiety and use difficult situations to cultivate inspiring views that help us keep calm and positive amidst conflict and chaos.

Details

Our general program classes include guided meditations, and practical teachings given by Buddha.
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners
General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually.
Chairs and cushions are provided.
