Transforming Our Mind Moment By Moment

April 18, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

The mind is often described as a wild elephant – It is unruly and at complete mercy of external objects. We see an attractive object and desirous attachment arises, we see an unattractive object and anger arises and neutral objects cause ignorance to arise. Those with special interest in training the mind should try to change this and develop the three virtuous minds that oppose these ‘three poisons’. The Practice we will be learning is ‘restraining the doors of the sense powers’.

Everyone is welcome!

Apr 4: The “three poisons,” the cause of all our problems
