Transforming Adversity into the Spiritual Path
December 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Monday, repeating until December 13, 2021
Through transforming adverse conditions into the path, rather than feeling discouraged by all the problems and pain we see around us, and within us, we discover a capacity to turn that negativity and use it to empower our mind. The result is that instead of feeling stuck and helpless, we experience an inner ability to transform suffering into powerful, positive states of mind, such as love, compassion and joy. This power enables us to not only grow spiritually, but also to exude a powerful positive influence on our world.
In this class, Kelsang Khacho will give some practical explanation and meditations from the ancient tradition of training the mind (Lojong in Tibetan).
- Nov 15: An introduction
- Nov 22: Gather all blame into one
- Nov 29: Exchanging self and others

- Dec 13: Giving by means of love
