Meet the Buddhas

March 7, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Please meet Four-armed Avalokiteshvara, and Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara.

The Buddha who appears to teach us how to increase our love and compassion is named Avalokiteshvara. Compassion is a powerful wish in our heart to stop forever all the different types of pain that people, animals and others experience within their bodies and minds.

Four-armed Avalokiteshvara

Avalokiteshvara usually appears with four arms. If we want to help those we love be free from pain and problems, we can pray to Avalokiteshvara. With his blessings, their suffering will be removed and our own love and compassion will also increase. Then one day wee too will become a Buddha of Compassion.

Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara

In this special form, Avalokiteshvara’s many arms remind us that the thousand Buddhas of this Fortunate Aeon are all within his heart. Thousand-armed Avalokishvara wants most of all to release all living beings from suffering. Making strong prayers to him, we can continually receive his powerful blessings for ourselves and others!

Join us to learn more about these two powerful Buddhas of Compassion and their precious sadhanas (practices).
