Meditation for Beginners
Meditation is easy and relaxing and brings with it many powerful benefits. But how exactly do we do it? Is it more than simply closing our eyes and remaining quiet? What do we do about sounds and other distractions, or daydreaming?
Not to worry. In this class, Kelsang Khacho will delve into some of the techniques that we can use to make our meditations effective and enjoyable. Through explanations and guided meditations, you will quickly learn the basics, and come away with the tools you need to begin your own meditation practice.
The class will provide plenty of time for questions and for several “mini-meditations.”
Dress comfortably. Both chairs and cushions will be available.
