“Everyone, whether religious or non-religious, is looking for happiness all the time and wants to be free from problems and suffering permanently. We can fulfil these wishes through understanding and practising the instructions given in this book.”
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
In this class, we’ll be reading from The New Eight Steps to Happiness. This inspiring book teaches the Buddhist way of loving kindness. It explains simply and clearly how to meditate on eight special verses that comprise one of Buddhisms’ best-loved teachings, Eight Verses of Training the Mind.
Originally composed by the great Tibetan Teacher, Geshe Langri Tangpa, these eight verses show how we can transform all of life’s situations into valuable spiritual insights.
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche reveals practical ways in which we can use this timeless wisdom to find meaning and lasting happiness in our busy modern lives.
Everyone is welcome.
